The Thinking Writer offers campus workshops for faculty, graduate students, and staff. These are a ‘live’ version of our popular How To Pitch and Submit course, and can a mix-and-match sequence including a lecture providing an overview how academics can write and publish for general audiences, smaller workshops where participants work on ideas for articles and op-eds, and one-on-one meetings to discuss individual drafts and projects. For a sense of the content of lectures and workshops, see Anne Trubek’s Learning To Write All Over Again and 5 Lessons for Writing For the Public.
